Eat, DRINK and Be Merry!

Cheers! We all know that special events and an open bar go hand in hand, but have you considered adding a special “twist” by creating a specialty drink? Cocktail hour is a great place to add a signature touch, as well as a visual point of interest. Need some ideas?
Weddings are known for custom drinks. How about creating four unique cocktails to signify “Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue”? “Something old” could be represented by the classic whiskey cocktail, The Old Fashioned. For “something new,” check out DrinkoftheWeek.com for unique combinations. Ask a friend to lend you a recipe for “something borrowed,” and for “something blue,” use a blue curacao recipe. What a great way to honor this timeless tradition.
Consider offering your guests an impressive composition of pink “kiss” Bellinis (sparkling wine with peach puree) set upon a round glass table with pink uplighting.
Perhaps you’d prefer a splash of color with butler passed sangria as flamenco dancers entertain your waiting guests.
Want to serve something that they’ve never seen before? Try a station of custom Caipirinhas (Brazil’s national cocktail), made-to-order, with assorted complements…
Non-alcoholic beverages can also be fun. Why not offer fruit or vegetable infused water in bright, colorful decanters with coordinating glassware?
Try a warm and snuggly spirit, like infused vodka, in a cordial glass with a toasted marshmallow on top…
Maybe you’d prefer something cool and refreshing. How about a tiered ice carving display of fresh chilled Mojitos served in slim, frosty glasses with a sprig of mint?
A La Carte Event Pavilion offers an amazing selection of specialty drinks. Choose from our menu and consider adding a custom bar made of plexi glass with custom lighting. Maybe you’d like a bar created entirely from ice or, better yet, let your event designer create something especially for you!
Don’t forget to add a fun lounge group where guests can sit and enjoy their specialty drinks…
